This Community Service Program is oriented to make a significant contribution to the community while gaining experience and skills by volunteering with a local organization and learning about Bolivia, its language and culture.
Living with a host family while studying abroad contributes untold value and learning to the immersion experience, by learning about everything like local customs, popular food, cultural differences, and so much more from them, people willing to open their lives to you for the duration of your stay. Participants will work 40 hours a week in one of our key working areas:
- Child & Youth Homeless people
- Disabled people
- Elderly people
- Resource protection/reclycling
- Extracurricular education
- Teaching assistance
- Community development
- Women’s empowerment
- Sports
According to the participant’s profile and the desired area of work, a social project will be assigned.
