Here you will have the opportunity to find out the reason why Brazilian people are considered so vibrant and warm. In this program, you will be hosted by a local family, who will show you the community, make you feel comfortable, and help you make friends.
In this program, the student will have the opportunity to attend one year of an undergraduate course at Instituto Federal, a public institution present in several cities in Brazil and which has a solid partnership with AFS Brazil in the city of Fortaleza, Ceará. The courses available are Hotel Management, Computer Engineering, Visual Arts, and Environmental Management. Moreover, you will be in frequent contact with AFS volunteers, who will assist you anytime you need. The volunteers want you to adapt well to your new reality, so they will prepare some interesting activities during your many orientations.
